BANSHEE 2011 PINOT NOIR - SONOMA COUNTY 750ML
By - Posted on 11 January 2011
Oozing class, this beauty does everything that top-notch pinot noir should do...and then some.A blend of two top-notch vineyards, one in the Petaluma Wind Gap (Sonoma Coast) and one from Russian River Valley. The Sonoma County is a complex pinot with dark cherry fruit and sweet earthen minerality held together by bright acidity and long, ripe tannins.

i bought that wine becasue i was atracted by the price...decent for a pinot noir if it is good, well i was ok by me and 4 others that was a the table.
couldn't find any great dark cherry fruit notes as advertised but could definitly find the sweetness of it !! i though i was drinking a cheap zin.
i still have onw bottle of it that i will try to see if it is the same and if it is not the same i will be back to let you know
The Darcie Kent Pinot has been a hit this week! I really enjoy a nice fruit-forward style of Pinot Noir for the summer, especially after it chills in the fridge a bit...
Thanks for the feedback, see you soon!
