The just-bottled 2007 Morellino di Scansano I Perazzi is fresh, fragrant and vinous. This is an especially ripe, open vintage for this wine perfect for near-term enjoyment. Some of the verve of the superb 2006 is missing, but the 2007 compensates with a personality that is a touch more approachable. I Perazzi is one of the finest values in Italian wine today.
